#KAEA2019 Workshop Proposals

The 2019 KAEA Conference Committee is currently accepting
workshop proposals for the Fall Professional Development
Conference taking place at Johnson County Community College
in Overland Park on October 10-12.

The quality of the sessions makes or breaks any art education conference! Please consider sending in a conference proposal this year and sharing your brilliance and expertise in art education with the whole state!

It is a fabulous addition to any resume, PD points galore, and truly provides a service to the profession by spreading the amazing things that are going on in your room!

Proposals are due April 15th this year which is early but it will allow for a more collaborative experience for the presenters before the conference.

Not sure what to present on?
We surveyed our members and found that most want to take sessions that are media/studio focused. In second was sessions about cultural connections, cross-curricular connections, and then art history based sessions.
Sessions can be 50 or 90 minutes long

This is the link to the presentation form:

The conference planning team can’t wait to see your
presentation proposals!

Note the early deadline date!
Proposals are due April 15th

You will receive notification on your proposal by June 15th
