Workshop Proposals

The 2019 KAEA Conference Committee is currently accepting workshop proposals for the Fall Professional Development Conference taking place at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park on October 10-12.

The conference planning team can’t wait to see your presentation proposals. We are interested in workshops that focus on classroom management, art history, technology, cross-curricular, cultural connections and the popular media-based make and take projects.

Don't think that you have something worthy of sharing with your peers?? You would be surprised how excited people would be to see what you are doing in your classroom!! This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge with your fellow art teachers. Everyone has a lesson that works well for you--come and share!!!

The conference committee wants to give the attendees a wide variety of workshops/presentations to choose from when registering for the conference. We encourage you to submit a proposal so that you can share with all of us!

Proposals are due June 1st

You will receive notification on your proposal by June 15th.
