Youth Art Month Celebration Cancelled

After thoughtful consideration, the Kansas Art Education Association has decided to cancel our 2020 Youth Art Month Celebration scheduled for March 22nd from 1-2:30pm at the Shawnee County Topeka Public Library to ensure the health and safety of students, educators, family and friends amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Youth Art Month celebration continues throughout the month of March and we know you will join us in continuing to celebrate the fabulous artwork created by students across the state and the art educators who helped facilitate their creations. We will post photos for your pleasure to enjoy! (Click HERE to view a PowerPoint of all the YAM artwork- the file is large so you will need to download it to view.)

To our best knowledge, the show will remain up until March 22 - information about art work pick-up, awards and more will be e-mailed out to educators participating in this year’s show.

We thank you for your support of the arts and art education and your understanding during this time.
