KAEA regions periodically host "drive in" events open to any art teachers. Check out your Regions' Events and all of those around the state.
*Membership is not required to attend a Drive In, though we would love to have you!

North Central Fall Creative Mask Exchange! You’ve all heard of ATC exchanges, this time we are going to switch it up a little and do a creative mask exchange!! To participate, you simply sew, paint, batik, embroidered,felt or embellish a creative mask for another art teacher to wear in their classroom. No specific theme other than creative! North East KAEA North East Region en plein air sketch, paint, Meet in the Middle event. We took our addresses from those at the KAEA fall conference meeting and came up with a middle place to meet at. So let's get together at Brad LeDuc's Place Sunday October 18th at 2:00. It is also National Chocolate Cupcake day so bring some cupcakes, your art supplies and we'll see you there for an outdoor event. Join the Curator of Education for a peek at our online tour possibilities. What are some advantages to presenting a visual artwork on a screen before seeing it in person? Learn more about recent acquisitions and challenge yourself to look closely like never before. Bring your preferred sketching supplies to experience the artwork through a personal creation.
