For the Love of Art Virtual Conference

the words "for the love of art" are displayed on top of 4 hearts with painterly brush strokes

We're still riding on the high from the Fall conference over here! Was the learning so enriching you just didn't want it to end? We agree!

February can be a tough month in teaching so soften the blow with an ALL VIRTUAL spring conference hosted by Kansas Art Education Association. This event will be offered FREE as a member benefit! We are hoping to offer a mix of hands-on and theory based sessions to help keep that fire alive until the sun comes back out and melts all this snow! We are looking for presenters that are willing to either pre-record or present a live session on Saturday, February 12th via zoom and google classroom! Members requested sessions on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Hands-On sessions with new skills, sessions geared toward middle and high school, and more information about TAB! Will you join us in serving the profession by submitting a proposal? Your proposal could be on one of the topics listed or anything you think members would benefit from learning.

Fill out a proposal here! https://forms.gle/YSfHRADCvYKxs5tX9
Proposals due January 19th.

If you have any more questions you can email Katie Morris at webmaster@kaea.com or Alyssa Passmore at advocacy@kaea.com.
