Virtual Conference

We are pleased to announce "For the Love of Art", the 2022 KAEA Virtual Conference offered FREE as a benefit to our members. This will be a one day event held Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

Registration is now open to KAEA members! Click HERE to Register! Registration closes February 8th.

This conference will be hosted using Google Classroom and Zoom. We will send out the code to the conference Google Classroom a week before the event so you have time to join. Please note that you may need to join with a personal email address as some school districts block outside organizations.

How will the conference work?

  • The day of the conference we will have live sessions on Zoom and pre-recorded sessions posted in the Google Classroom. We will use Google Classroom to share the Zoom password, provide a list of materials for hands-on sessions, and organize any handouts the presenters share.
  • We will kick off the conference with a demonstration on how to navigate the Google Classroom so that you don't miss out on anything as well as announcements about upcoming events.
  • You can use the Zoom app on a phone or tablet or you can use on a computer through the web browser or downloaded application. The downloaded version tends to run more smoothly. It is a good idea to open the app the day before to make sure you don't have any updates that need to be made so that you can start the workshop on time.
  • Once the live sessions start you will have the option to turn on the video which makes it feel a little more like an in-person workshop.
