We are pleased to announce the 3rd annual KAEA Virtual Spring Professional Development Conference offered FREE as a benefit to our members. This will be a one day event held Saturday, February 10th, 2024.

- Fill out THIS FORM by Friday Februrary 9th and we will get you the information to join the Google Classroom!
Please note that you may need to join with a personal email address as some school districts block outside organizations. You are encouraged to join the Google Classroom when you get the link so that we have time to assist you if you have issues. Email webmaster@kaea.com if you have questions.

- This page will give you a detailed schedule and descriptions of the sessions. The description will include a list of materials for hands-on sessions so you can follow along while you watch!
How will the conference work?
- The day of the conference we will have live sessions on Zoom and materials posted in the Google Classroom. We will use Google Classroom to share the Zoom password, provide a list of materials for hands-on sessions, and organize any handouts the presenters share.
- We will kick off the conference with a demonstration on how to navigate the Google Classroom so that you don't miss out on anything as well as announcements about upcoming events.
- You can use the Zoom app on a phone or tablet or you can use on a computer through the web browser or downloaded application. The downloaded version tends to run more smoothly. It is a good idea to open the app the day before to make sure you don't have any updates that need to be made so that you can start the workshop on time.
- Once the live sessions start you will have the option to turn on the video which makes it feel a little more like an in-person workshop.
