Vote for Constitution

After discussion and feedback from Kansas art educators, the Kansas Art Education Association Board has voted to break our dues agreement with the National Art Education Association.

While we will still be a part of the national organization with representation and voting at the national level, this will allow us to set dues rates separate from national organization membership for our Kansas art teachers.  

In addition, we will be simplifying the membership categories for KAEA membership.

As of July 1st, once your current membership expires this means that you will join KAEA and then if you want to be a member of NAEA—you will do that separately at an additional cost.

To make this change, we need to make adjustments to our Constitution and By-Laws reflecting this language.
